    She’s passionate about empowering patients with knowledge and coordinated care, embedding Matilda into her surgical pathway to ensure every patient is supported before and after surgery. Dr Acton is the lead of the clinical advisory board at Matilda

    Dr Rose McDonnell, Perth, Western Australia

    Dr McDonnell provides compassionate, comprehensive care from diagnosis through to recovery. With expertise in fertility and advanced laparoscopic surgery, she combines clinical excellence with genuine empathy, helping patients feel comfortable, supported, and confident in every step of their treatment journey.

    Dr Mooney is a highly skilled obstetrician and gynaecologist with advanced training in minimally invasive surgery and a special interest in endometriosis, pelvic pain, and infertility. She provides comprehensive care across fertility, gynaecology, and obstetrics, combining surgical expertise with a compassionate, research-informed approach. As a PhD candidate at the University of Melbourne, Sam is actively contributing to research.

  • Dr Bernadette McElhinney

    Dr McElhinney is a specialist obstetrician and gynaecologist with a special interest in advanced gynaecological endoscopy, including the management of endometriosis, fibroids, abnormal uterine bleeding, and colposcopy.

    She completed her medical training in Ireland and specialist training in the UK, followed by a fellowship at King Edward Memorial Hospital, where she later joined the Endoscopy Unit. Dr McElhinney is committed to evidence-based, patient-centred care.

    She is accredited in advanced techniques such as vNOTES hysterectomy and works within a multidisciplinary team to optimise recovery and outcomes for her patients.
